Tyre valve replacement, at your door
The valve is the small stem you inflate your tyre through, and it does more than you would think - it is all that seals the air in. Standard rubber (snap-in) valves harden and perish with age and can crack or leak, which shows up as a slow, mysterious loss of pressure. Because a valve is as old as the tyre it is fitted to, replacing it is cheap insurance.
That is why we fit a new valve as standard every time we fit a new tyre. If your car has a direct TPMS system, the valve is part of the sensor and needs a service kit - new seals, core and cap - or a new sensor if the battery has failed, which we look after at the same time.
Got a slow puncture that turns out to be the valve rather than the tyre? We can replace it at your home or work in minutes, so you are not chasing a phantom leak.
